1.  How safe is your website?  Our highest priority is to provide a secure shopping environment.  We restrict access to any transactional portions of our site to computers running web browsers that support Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.   Please visit our Privacy page for more information.

2.   What should I do if I don’t want to give my credit card information over the internet?  If you still prefer not to give your credit card  number over the Internet after reading our Privacy page, you can place your order by calling us at 1-604-768-9864.

3.  What is your return and exchange policy?  We offer an unconditional satisfaction guarantee.  Please visit our Policypage by clicking on this Returns link.

4.  What is your shipping policy?  We aim to ship all orders within 2 business days after the shipment date.  If you live in the BC Fraser Valley area and don’t receive your order within this time frame, the order is free!   Please visit our Policy page under the Shipping heading for more information.

5.  Do I have to be home to receive my shipment?  The preference is that customers are at home so that signature verifications can be done to ensure that the shipment gets to the actual person who ordered.   Deliveries are targeted for the next business day, providing the order is received by the shipper before 3 PM (your time zone) the prior day.  You have the option of leaving a note on your door, indicating that the parcel can be left by the door or in your mail box, if you won't be at home that next day.  Your parcel will be delivered the following day if there is nobody home or no note.     

6.  What is an OEM ink or toner cartridge?  OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer.  HP, Canon, Epson, Lexmark, and Brother manufacture the printers that we sell cartridges for.  OEM printer ink and toner cartridges are the original, genuine, brand name cartridges that are exactly the same as what came originally with the printer that you bought.   All our printer ink and toner cartridges are OEM, ensuring 100% printer compatibility and reliability.  Please visit our Returns page for more information on what you can do if there are any problems. 7.  What is a remanufactured ink or toner cartridge?  Many ink and toner cartridges are recycled by third parties other than OEM.  They replace worn parts, refill and test each cartridge in a factory, and package for resale.  These ink and toner cartridges can be slightly less reliable than original OEM, with resulting risk of compromised quality of printout.

8.  What are compatible ink or toner cartridges?  Compatibles, also called replacements, are imitations made by third parties other than OEM, yet compatible with them.  They cost less, but buyers need to be aware that quality and reliability can be an issue, especially with photo printing.

9.  What is a refilled ink cartridge?  Ink is injected from a bottle through a syringe.  Kits can be purchased by you, the owner, or you can get it done at a mall kiosk or a store that does refilling.   Refilling can be unreliable and is usually the least expensive.

10. Why are printer ink and toner cartridges so expensive?  Most of the revenue from printer manufacturers obviously comes through the repeat sales of ink and toner cartridges.  In fact, you have probably noticed that some printers cost less than the ink or toner cartridge.  Many brand name companies have installed or are planning to install computer chips in their printer cartridges that can be read by the OEM printer.  If the codes don’t match, the cartridge won’t work, This is being done because those who sell compatibles  have taken away significant revenue.   We don’t have any control over the OEM ink and toner cartridge prices.  Our profit margin is kept as low as possible in order to give you a reasonable and competitive price because we want to provide you with the best quality genuine, brand name cartridge.

11. Is it a requirement to register with my email and password on your site before ordering?  No, you don’t need to register.  Simply go the shopping cart and process your order. 

12.  What are the advantages of the PIT Club Sign In?  

        PIT members have the private convenience of their stored delivery information for future orders and the ability to track previous orders.

         PIT Rewards Club membership requires registration in order to receive free cartridges as an acknowledgement and thank you for volume  purchases as a regular return customer.  Larger businesses, with staff, get percentage reductions at the end of each month based on the total amount purchased.  More detailed information can be found under the heading: PIT Rewards Club, which is found on most pages of our website.
